Daddy G.O is helping Mummy G.O to do house chores. The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said he still irons his wife’s clothes.
The renowned pastor, in a series of tweets on humility, said, “I still iron/press my wife’s clothes when I’m allowed to. If you are a true leader, you must always be ready to serve, even when no one can see you.
“If you find a RCCG pastor that is not humble, then it means I wasn’t the one who ordained him or her.”
But now there are reactions ,stating that such house chore is normal and should not be counted as sign of humility..If you live in the Western countries, it is no big deal. I do that, I cook, I wash the plates, and all that past 50 years and I don’t see it stopping. It’s not a sign of piety.
But past heads of states like Obama and David Cameron still iron their clothes, their wives and kids clothes. It is only in nigeria that when leaders carry their umbrella it will make a headline. I don’t see that as a sign of humility
What is the big deal about this?
That you iron and starch your partner’s clothes, should be another selling point your gullible followers?
A lot of people do that, and yet they do not make noise about it.
This shows the mindset of the so called leaders we have in Nigeria, alway making a mountain out of a molehill.
WHAT IS YOUR TAKE?
