The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps on Thursday said it would deploy no fewer than 300 dogs for the conduct of the Anambra State governorship poll scheduled for November 18.
It added that it would engage 11, 000 personnel from seven states for the election.
The Anambra state Commandant of the Corps, Mr. John Ahwen, disclosed this to newsmen in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
He said the personnel would be deployed from neighbouring states of Enugu, Abia, Ebonyi, Rivers, Edo, Delta and Imo.
Ahwen said four drones, ambulances and medical team as well as 115 vehicles, 15 of which would be deployed in the riverine areas of the state for the poll.
He said the Deputy Commandant-General in charge of Operations, Mr. Hillary Madu, would lead the operation and would be assisted by two Assistant Commandants-General.
