Popular pastor, Shepherd Bushiri, who is the founder of the Enlightened Christian Gathering Church is in the news again.
This time, the wealthy pastor is in the news for buying his first daughter a Maserati Levante worth N27m to celebrate her birthday. He shared the photos on his Facebook page with a few words to appreciate God for the gift of his daughter. In his words;
“I always count myself blessed during this time of the year because I get the honor to celebrate, not only one but two God-given gifts in my life.

Famous South Africa-based Malawian prophet Shepherd Bushiri of the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG is currently hosting a 3-day conference at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre, in Sydney Australia.
In 2009 he founded the Enlightened Christian Gathering Church (ECG) under a tree in Mzuzu, a city in northern Malawi. The church then relocated to Pretoria South Africa.
His congregation drastically increased in the years after the Church headquarters moved from Malawi to South Africa. In South Africa the ECG has over 35,000 worshipers each week while in Malawi there are over 50,000, according to sources.
Sources say the Major 1’s page is one of the fastest growing pages in Africa for the pastors, just like his church which is also reported to be the fastest growing religious institution across the globe.
The ECG church has branches in Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia, Namibia and other places.
He has earned himself a reputation as a man with succinct prophecies in his country, but this has also some with some media controversies, that he cares to often address.
His visit to Uganda has been greatly hailed by several Ugandan Pastors/Prophets including Prophet Brian Kagyezi, Franklin Mondo Mugisha, who like Pastor Denis Amos Emojong consider Mr Bushiri a spiritual father.
Mr Bushiri will be coming with his wife, Prophetess Mary Bushiri.
