Unlike in the past, Nigerians had yet to know who to vote for less than a year to the next election, even if they had to dump Buhari.
The opposition is yet to demonstrate how they would defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 despite their frequent calls on the electorate to ensure they got their Permanent Voter CardsThere are only two political parties right now; there may be others in future, but now it’s either the APC or the PDP. All these Red Card, Third Force and others are helping the incumbent.
“Yes, the call by the opposition parties on the people to get their PVCs can play a part, but what I think basically is that Buhari’s biggest challenger today is ‘go and get your PVC’. That is not a candidate. Yes, People will get their PVCs but who are they voting for? ”
The problem according to a political commentator is the challenge of credibility. is there any politician in PDP today that doesn’t have skeleton in his cupboard. Can PDP present anybody that is as clean as PMB. is it Atiku that has a rotten cupboard? They have all stolen our money in one capacity or the other for them to attain where they are today. Anybody that comes out to challenge buhari knows that his past will be seriously scrutinize and exposed and non of this present day politicians want his past to be exposed
They know already that Alfa Buhari can not defeated.
Sarakis and co can not even dump APC at this moment because they would remain in custody till 2023 when the Buhari would complete his second term. All of them have blood money in their cupboards .
