The management of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) Plc has announced a stop to the transfer of its debit cards belonging to customers between branches. The financial institution made this disclosure in a notice sent out to its customers via email this week.

GTBank said its customers can now obtained their GTBank Naira MasterCard within minutes of applying for it.

“Dear customer, we are pleased to inform you that you can now get an instant replacement for your lost, stolen or damaged GTBank Naira MasterCard.

“Simply walk into any of our branches, complete a request form and you will get a new card in minutes.

“We would however be discontinuing the transfer of cards between branches, from September 1, 2018.

“This means that cards that have already been produced and delivered to a particular branch can no longer be transferred to another branch for pick up.
