Nollywood filmmaker, Eddie Ugbomah ,still critically ill,needs N5m for surgery

“Please tell them to help me as i am in pains and may not wait for the surgery”
He needs N5 million to get a surgery between now and next 10 days.

Before now, entertainment journalist, Shaibu Husseini who has been giving update on his health said

“I promised regular update but you did not hear from me because we were awaiting final diagnoses from the current hospital on the Island that we took Chief to, and we had to settle amicably with the former hospital in Ilogbo,to give us time to settle their outstanding bill.

With that done, Chief Ugbomah needs to undergo urgent surgery within the next 10 days or we will have crisis on our hands. God forbid. But what we will require to get the legendary filmmaker on his feet again including settlement of outstanding medical bills and post surgery maintainance is in the region of N5 million naira.

Chief ugbomah is grateful to all those who have reached out to him through his personal account detail, but he is making a passionate appeal for more help.

Based on the wise counsel of a committee pivoted by the dependable Director General of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) Alhaji Adedayo Thomas and assisted by the Mr. Ralph Nwadike led Exco of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP), a dedicated account that will be managed by Mrs. Ameachi Ogunnubi nee Ugbomah (Chief Ugbomah”s eldest child in the country) and myself Shaibu Husseini (representing stakeholders) has been opened to receive contributions and give daily account of the contributions except those who wish to remain anonymous.
