Hon. Tunde Buraimoh, the former chairman of Kosofe local government area and currently, representative of Kosofe Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Few weeks ago he wrote philosophically about death “Life is a conundrum
A mirage and a puzzle
A concomitance of the strange and the mysterious
Sometimes comes with so much joy
Sometimes with so much sadness
What a world of absurdity ?
#a world of vanity !
But in all, we remain thankful.
May God have mercy on us
Halt the torrents of sadness
And grant us enduring joy.
May God grant my dearest Leader and senior brother ; Senator Bayo Osinowo eternal peace”
There’s been this belief that before he became a lawmaker, it’s been political oblivion for him since he left office as the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government about 14 or 15 years ago.
His last major event was his daughter Oyinkan’s 21st birthday anniversary last Saturday. It was a beautiful age for the young woman as she clocked the landmark age of 21 on March 16 and her proud dad spared no dough to throw a lavish private birthday at his beautiful Ogudu GRA residence with select friends of his and his daughter’s closest friends and school mates in attendance.
It was indeed a special day for Buraimoh’s daughter, Oyinkan, a law undergraduate of the University of Lagos.
Upon entry, guests were welcomed by exquisite floral arrangements designed with a beautiful array of fresh floral stems and lush blooms of artificial green lawn. Those in attendance also enjoyed an exquisite three-course meal, great wine, and specialty cocktails.
There was soothing contemporary music from a live band and supported by a DJ that enlivened the atmosphere. There was a feel-good moment for everyone at the party, which started out calm and casual but peaked when the proud father joined the birthday girl and her friends on the dance floor, which many labelled adorable.
The fabulous soiree was also an opportunity for select guests to celebrate with Buraimoh, the Bamofin of Ketuland, who was re-elected on Saturday, March 9 as a lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency Two in the State Assembly
