A total of 155 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has been confirmed in the country, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed late Wednesday.
In a post on its Twitter handle, the centre said 84 of the cases were recorded in Lagos State, 31 in Rivers State, 12 in Kaduna State and 10 in Osun State.
Seven cases were recorded in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), six in Oyo State, three in Ogun State and two in Kwara State.
No new death was announced.
These latest cases bring the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria to 59,738, with the virus spreading to all 36 states and the FCT.
