House of Representatives is bereaved a second time in just three days.
Another member, identified as Suleiman Aliyu representing Lere Federal Constituency, Kaduna State has died.
The 53-year-old lawmaker, said to have died on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, Kaduna State, after a brief illness, would be the second person in three days, fourth in three months and the sixth since to pass away from the Green Chambers of the current National Assembly.
It added that the deceased had recently won his case at the Court of Appeal which reinstated him as both the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the winner of the February 23, 2019 House of Representatives election for Lere Federal Constituency.
The lower chamber had lost Haruna Maitala, os North/Bassa Federal Constituency of Plateau State, three days ago, on the 3rd of April, in a car crash which also claimed the life of his son and aides who were travelling with him.
