Zenith, 2 other banks rank high on digital media

Three banks in the country have been rated high among the top ten commercial bank that employ the use of digital space in Nigeria by Africa’s largest Digital media company, Terragon Group. The banks are Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank), Zenith Bank and Wema bank among the top ten commercial banks.

Terragon Group in its report which highlighted digital insights in the Nigerian banking industry, was based on analysis conducted over a period of three months and which focused on key activities carried out by the banks using digital media, their innovations and what impact these activities have on their overall business achievements.

 Head of Strategy and Research at the Terragon Group, Juno Kurian, who spoke on the report stated that the digital media offers an endless array of opportunities which banks can use to attract new customers, engage existing customers and sustain their relevance in the ever evolving digital space. The report also focused on elements of their online presence while providing insights on Website traffic, Search Engine Optimisation, Bounce rate, Web mentions, Social Media Assets, mobile speed and user experience.

The report findings ranked GTBank, Zenith Bank and First Bank high on the index of website country ranking, According to the group, this analysis has made it clear that the banks are aware of the advantages of digital marketing, as seen in the ways in which they have latched on.
