A Nigerian man has recently come out to express his strong reservations for some parents, after he witnessed their questionable actions at a common entrance examination center.
According to the man identified as Asoh Chinedu, he recently took his neighbor’s son to the venue of his examination and during the exam, he found out that some of the parents who came with their kids had resorted to bribing officials to aid their children in examination malpractice.
He said the parents paid as much as N20k each to the invigilator who promised to write the exams for their wards, adding that, he almost broke down in tears when a particular kid came out and told his parent that the invigilator ticked all his exam questions for him. “I was about to cause trouble at the centre but I knew NECO will just cancel the results of that centre and the innocent ones will suffer.
I will wait till the results are out and I will send an email to NECO about the centre. “The Neco official (external invigilator) himself is the one responsible and should be arrested.” he said.
