Ogun police declare 63-yr-old man missing

A 63-year-old man, who left his residence to visit a friend in a nearby community, has been declared missing.

The victim, Saka Durosomo, the Ogun State Police Command said in a statement issued by its spokesperson (PPRO), CSP Omolola Odutola, left his abode on 24, Bamishebi Estate, Aiyetoro, Itele, on a visit to an undisclosed friend at Lafenwa Area in Ogun State.

According to the statement, the dark complexioned victim, who speaks Yoruba fluently, was last seen on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, when he left home at about 8:00pm.

The distraught wife, Mrs. Iyabo Durosomo, reported the incident to the Itele Police Division, stating that he had, since then, not returned home, and that all efforts to reach him on phone had been unsuccessful.

“Anyone with relevant information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest police station or call the Ogun State Police Command helpline”, the statement concluded
