Abike Dabiri accused of bias, using actress’ daughter for Publicity stunt

Oyiza Hope Yakubu, an anti-human trafficking crusader has accused
Abike Dabiri of sidelining her after she alone found and rescue Deola, the much talked about daughter of Jumoke George in Mali.

Oyiza Hope Yakubu , claims Hon Abike Dabiri-led NIDCOM ignored other Nigerian girls she rescued with Adeola and didn’t bring them back to Nigeria “because no one knows their families”.

Oyiza stated that;

“I was in Mali to study and rescue trafficked Nigerian girls as usual when Adeola’s case came up on Biola Adebayo’s podcast. I was already on my way to a village for my task but I decided to treat Adeola’s case first based on the fame it was already generating. So I contacted a friend who gave me her location contact.

I went and personally moved her, bought her new clothes and shoes and was preparing with the embassy to bring her back alongside other Nigerian girls I have rescued when the Nigerian government snatched her, ignoring other girls. They took the glory without mentioning who really did the job. But I have moved on. I don’t do my job for the camera but for the passion to rescue slaving Nigerians…”
