United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) has been recognized as the strongest Nigerian brand in the 2024 Brand Finance ranking.
Climbing from the ninth position last year to the top spot with a score of 92.4 out of 100 and a corresponding AAA+ rating.
UBA’s improved position is attributed to its exceptional performance in brand familiarity, customer preference, and consideration within its home market. The bank has also been named the 13th strongest banking brand in the world, among the top 500 banking brands evaluated.
UBA’s Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Alero Ladipo, attributed the achievement to deliberate planning, strategic investments, and an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction.
