Nigerians are raising alarm over perceived plots to release NURTW Lagos strongman Samsideen Oladiti aka ” Shamelon ” .
He is behind the alleged death of a man who was also captured in a trending video beating up a dispatch rider .
He has been arraigned at a Magistrate Court, he was in the dock on Tuesday 30th September, but the Case has been adjourned to 28th October 2025 for DPP Advice.
The 55-year-old man, was arraigned on Tuesday over the alleged murder of a dispatched rider at the Ebute Metta Magistrate Court 2.
Oladiti had been arrested over allegations of assault and murder.
Now, YOUNEWS learnt many are worried since the DPP, Director of Public Presecution is a staff of Lagos state, he would most likely do the bidding of paymaster.
There are also allegations that Lagos NURTW Visited the Family of the murdered person on Saturday September 19,
YOUNEWS was informed that though it was under the guise of ‘to pay a condolence visit
But the intention was to
create soft landing, and create room for settlement.
There were overtures, but the family refused all.
Some Nigerians who are watching with keen interest have already pointed accussing finger to one retired police officer, who buried his mother on the day Ramon was assaulted.He is said to be a major culprit in Shameleon’s crimes.
“The Retired police officer is one of the devilish tools used by Shamsidden Adio to commit crimes and go scot-free.
He is alleged to have covered several crimes against humanity for Shamsidden on the island. Shamellon controls police on the island “
Up till now , the Police has refused to charge others who aided Shamelleon to beat the dispatch Rider blue black.
They pin him down while , Shameleon was dealing blows on him..Their eyes weren’t covered, yet non of them had been arrested..no attempt from the Police.
YOUNEWS learnt that there are thinking that the charges should be redrafted to include his accomplices.
A group of Nigerians recently appealed ;
“We respectfully appeal to the Lagos State House of Assembly,Nigeria , Lagos State Police Command, Babajide Sanwo-Olu , Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu , and the Nigerian police force to ensure that justice is served; Shamsidden Adio must be held accountable for the death”
They are also requesting; Lagos state government need to stay out of this case and send a message to every criminal who has found the umbrella of the NURTW big enough to hide and carry out all sorts of evil, including murder.
Shamsideen Oladiti, aka Shamoleon, is believed to be a top gun in the NURTW, a body seen by most Nigerians as the umbrella body for touts, gangsters, political thugs and ballot box snatchers, particularly in Lagos state.
He has been described as notorious and apparently above the law, at least in Lagos state. He gives anyone who dares to cross his path the middle finger.
This incident is just one
of many crimes he’s alleged to have committed without anyone having the guts to call him to question.
He’s a member of the APC and a supporter of the president.
