Nigeria rises to 60th in new Fifa ranking, now 11th in Africa

The Nigerian Super Eagles have risen to 60th in the new FIFA /Coca-Cola rankings published on FIFA’s website today. Nigeria, coached by Gernot Rohr, is now the 11th best team in Africa behind Cote d’Ivoire, Senegal, Algeria, Tunisia, Ghana, Egypt, Congo DR, Congo, Mali, Cameron. Nigeria, before this latest ranking was 65th in September.

Argentina remains No 1, while Germany, Brazil and Belgium occupy the second, third and fourth position respectively.
